  • Ghana Football Association

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is the official governing body for senior and youth football throughout Ghana. Cantonments Football Club enters Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17 boys teams in the GFA Accra East District Juvenile Leagues and our Senior Team plays in the GFA Accra East District Third Division League. These competitive leagues are a vital part of the football development process for players of all ages and we would like to thank the GFA for their commitment to these competitions.

  • Emmanuel Eboue

Emmanuel Eboue of Arsenal Football Club has recently thrown his moral support behind our Youth Academy project. His interest in the academy highlights to our players that even if you have a humble beginning in the game, you can, with hard work, achieve your goals. Like many of our players, Emmanuel knows exactly what it is like to grow up in a disadvantaged neighbourhood with limited facilities, equipment and coaching. He is proving a real inspiration for our players and many like them in West Africa. Everyone at Cantonments Football Club would like to thank Emmanuel for his kind words of support and wish him continued success in his career with Arsenal.

  • Akuapem Hills Stars

The Akuapem Hills Stars are a youth football team located in the Akuapem hills, just north of Accra, Ghana. Projects Abroad has been sending volunteers to the club for a number of years. A much smaller operation than Cantonments Football Club, the Akuapem team caters for around 40 youth players. Having originally played the team in the inaugural Rita Britton Cup tournament in 2006, we have kept in touch, playing numerous friendly matches and providing them with donations of equipment when possible.
