His ability to select the correct passes and movement of the ball set him above most of his teammates. I expect Akrofi to be an excellent captain in the future.

Mandela United F/C 2nd Division Ghana 2007/2008 – Games 34 Goals 3
Coaches’ Comment – without any fear I can say that Karim’s commitment in matches and training was a key factor in the promotion of the team this season. Karim is a very good striker and does not miss his chances anytime there is confusion in the defence of the opponent.
Academy Director’s Comment: Karim is an exciting talent with exceptional dribbling ability. While his range of passing and ability to turn a marker inside-out is great to watch, the most pleasing aspect from a coach’s point of view is that he is working on the defensive side of his game. His fitness levels have improved dramatically in recent weeks and he is putting in the leg-work on the pitch, constantly tracking-back to help out his defence.

Manso FC Under 12’s Ghana 2001/2003 – Games 9 Goals 3
Manso FC Under 14’s Ghana 2004/2005 – Games 15 Goals 5
Coaches’ Comment – He is extremely quick, explosive and athletic when it comes to overlapping. He came with good reputation and later proved himself right worthy.
Cantonments Youth Academy Under 17’s Ghana 2007 – Games 32 Goals 3
Coaches’ comments – He always exhibited good attributes of a footballer when it comes to the field of play. As a strong, aggressive and fast defender, he dominated and controlled most of our training and matches, resulting in victories in most of our matches.
Academy Director’s Comment: Thomas is the club captain even though he his one of the younger members of the Senior Squad. This should give you an indication of his temperament. A hard-worker both in training and matches, he possesses the stamina to work up and down the park all day long. He may not be the tallest defender in the squad, but he makes up for it with tenacity in the tackle and the ability to cross with both feet.

Simon Kwesi Salifu Saviola Ghanaian Ghana 20/12/91 Left Back, Left Wing Left English, Twi, Ga Barcelona Lionel Messi |
Simon can only be described as the archetypal modern footballer. His accurate crosses and blistering long shots, combined with the height, pace and strength needed to play fullback result in a spectacular player. Having trained as both a winger and a fullback, Simon has the energy to run up and down the pitch all day and the skill required to beat a man in the final third.

Banabas Ganinakam Ghanaian Ghana Left Wing Left English, Twi, Kasem Newcastle Obafemi Martins |
One of the most impressive aspects of Banabas' game is that he is capable of so much at such a young age. Adept at close control, Banabas will regularly beat multiple opponents only to be hacked down. It is then that he demonstrates his temperament by dusting himself off and dispatching the free kick into the top corner with his sweet left foot.
Name: Nickname: Nationality: Country of Residence: Date of Birth: Position: Foot: Languages: Favourite Team: Favourite Player: |
Isaac Mantey Kobby Ghanaian Ghana 12/10/96 Central Midfield Right English, Twi Chelsea Michael Essien |
"The heartbeat of the team" - this is how Isaac was described recently by a member of staff. He is a midfield playmaker who directs the build-up of the team. Isaac's talents range from composure on the ball and the vision to play a killer pass to a ferocious long shot and the ability to bamboozle defences with his fluid dribbling. It is fair to say that he is a natural talent and a fan favourite.
Name: Nickname: Nationality: Country of Residence: Date of Birth: Position: Foot: Languages: Favourite Team: Favourite Player: |
Charles Ofori Brains Ghanaian Ghana 27/6/96 Central Midfield Right English, Twi Newcastle Utd and Arsenal Kaka |
Charles stands out because he reads the game incredibly well for such a young player. This natural talent enables him to always be one step ahead of his opponent and play in a relaxed and confident manner. Having spend much of his first season in central defence, he has recently been playing in midfield. This enables him to use his defensive instincts and superb vision to take control of the game, beating much taller players in the air and providing great service to the front players.
Name: Nickname: Nationality: Country of Residence: Date of Birth: Position: Foot: Languages: Favourite Team: Favourite Player: |
Collins Mensah Coly Ghanaian Ghana 23/1/95 Right Back, Right Wing Right English, Twi, Ga Arsenal Cesc Fabregas |
Collins is a dynamic right back who possesses the pace, skill and crossing ability to flourish in any position down the right flank. The remarkable thing about him is the speed at which he learns new concepts and ideas. Some people see Collins as mainly an attacking player, but the defensive side of his game is improving all the time. The fundamental truth is that all of the ingredients are there for him to develop into a top class right sided player.
Name: Nickname: Nationality: Country of Residence: Date of Birth: Position: Foot: Languages: Favourite Team: Favourite Player: |
Prince Dowouna Cnortey Ghanaian Ghana Central Midfield Left English, Ga Manchester Utd Cristiano Ronaldo |
Prince is a powerful central midfielder with a classy range of passing to compliment his athleticism. He will tell you that his position is defensive midfield but his strong left foot and dynamic running mean he can easily perform on the wing or in a more advanced midfield role. No matter where he stands on the pitch, the opposition always have to watch out for his trademark pile driver long-shots - so often a match winner.
