Since 2006 the driving force behind Cantonments Football Club's success has been its collaboration with volunteer organisation Projects Abroad. While every club in the world can benefit from new equipment and finances, we have found that volunteer coaches who are passionate about football and keen to learn about African culture make all the difference. If you are interested in helping our club, gaining a new cultural experience and creating opportunities for young Ghanaian football players, there is no better way that donating your time and joining us on a volunteer placement. Projects Abroad offer placements starting from as little as two weeks and stretching to as long as you require. Whether you are an individual or a group, a novice coach or an expert, everyone is welcome and invited to join us on our journey.
As a volunteer you will have the chance to train with the players, take and assist coaching sessions, referee friendly matches and much, much more. Away from the pitch you will have ample opportunity to experience the vibrant markets, restaurants and nightlife of Ghana's capital city, Accra. We frequently hold club parties and meals so you will be able to socialise with staff and players while sampling the delights of local Ghanaian cooking.
